With slow, steady grooves, lush textures and narrative songwriting, Lazlo's sound has been described as "ethereal country." From the Lambertville, NJ/New Hope, PA music community, Lazlo has ties to the Trenton, NJ and Philadelphia jazz scenes. Its members have performed and recorded locally and internationally with members of Ween, Tom Marshall (Phish), Chris Harford, Recliner, Andrew Weiss (producer) and Adam Lasus (producer).

Lazlo's sound reflects the rich diversity of its members.

Jon Thompson
(songwriter, vocals, guitars, woodwinds) provides the backdrop for the textural accompaniment of the other members. A Temple University jazz performance graduate, Thompson has performed on the Philly and Trenton jazz scenes as well as various local r&b and rock groups.

Andy Keenan
(lead guitarist and vocal harmonies) plays jazz in both Philly and Trenton and adds a visceral dimension to the music with melodic and inventive lap steel playing as well as strong leads.

Classically trained Shannon Sanderson (vocals and percussion) rounds out the harmonies with an evocative and haunting element that makes the vocals truly unique.
